CEO Markus Steilemann to leave Covestro on 31 May 2028

Covestro’s CEO, Markus Steilemann, has recently informed the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the German multinational that he will not be available for a further term and intends to step down from his role on 31 May 2028, upon the expiry of his current mandate.

Covestro’s Supervisory Board will initiate an orderly succession process for the position of CEO in due course. Markus Steilemann has confirmed his availability to ensure a seamless handover of his responsibilities to his successor.
