32-cavity mould tested on a Canbio

Moulding tests at Negri Bossi in Cologno Monzese, just outside Milan. A 32-cavity mould for the production of 74-gram caps for food containers has been installed on a Canbio V220-850 injection press, which has been shown to be reliable, quiet and easy to use. The manufacturing cell also included a Sytrama robot and a GD92CU automation system supplied the company Giuseppe Desirò. The latter completes the production cycle, assembling the tops in ultrasonically welded sets, each comprising 13 rows of eight pieces, ready for packaging.
