Japanese-German platform for injection machines

After a two-year joint venture between the German and Japanese partners, the financial and technological future of Sumitomo-Demag is taking shape.
This was the main theme of the end-of-June press conference held at Schwaig's German headquarters as K 2010 approaches. The Japanese-German alliance strategy is based on creating a common platform to define the development of every type of hydraulic, electric or hybrid injection machine.
Sumitomo-Demag group has used this period of general crisis to fit Japanese drive technology to all its injection machines, thus allowing development of a new machine configuration.
