A year and a half after the acquisition of FDM, a German company specialized in dosing technologies for extrusion, Piovan continues its strategy of strengthening its presence on international markets, acquiring a majority share in its Turkish distributor based in Istanbul.
The local staff, composed of managers and specialized technicians with specific expertise in materials processing, develops and operates high-efficiency technological conveying, dehumidification, and metering systems as well as cooling systems for production machinery.
This move represents Piovan's efforts to consolidate its base to secure a strategic presence in Turkey, a fast growing market with concrete prospects. Local stocks of ancillary equipment and spare parts ensure timely deliveries in the domestic market and throughout the Middle East.
