Siglo became Dafa Italia

On July 1st, Siglo, an Italian manufacturer of bonding and sealing solutions, changed its name to Dafa Italia, thereby putting the final touch to its takeover, last year, by the Danish group Dafa.

The new name has been chosen in order to be in line with the names of group’s other companies (Dafa Deutschland, Dafa US and Dafa Sverige), to promote a stronger bond with the group, and to allow development of the company’s international presence. No organisational changes and no changes to the products and services offered are envisaged following the adoption of the new name. In future, Dafa will market Siglo's FIPFG activities under the umbrella of the Dafa Siglo Sealing Solutions brand. Furthermore, this change will not have any operational effects on customers and partners either.

Dafa is a family-run Danish company, founded in 1939 by Børge Norby. Today it is in the hands of the third generation and it employs around 305 people and has an annual turnover of around 53 million euros. Its product range includes self-adhesive sealing tapes, gaskets, thermal and acoustic insulation, packaging, rubber and aluminium profiles and FIPFG, and it is marketed through the headquarters in Denmark and subsidiaries in Sweden, China, Germany, Poland, Italy and the United States.
