Plast and Expo, first meeting

The first meeting between the organizer of PLAST (Milan,  May 5-9, 2015) and the chief managers of Fiera Milnao in charge for Expo 2015 (Milan, May 1-October 31, 2015) took place on June 27, 2013, aiming to draft possible synergies between the two events.
It was proposed to combine promotional initiatives and concrete benefits for the international operators of the plastics and rubber industry, in order to take advantage of the extraordinary incentives provided by the countries participating at Expo 2015 for the organization of visiting delegations in Milan.
Thanks to the network that might be arranged between associations and overseas operators of the sector interested in PLAST, in cooperation with several governmental agencies involved in Expo, the coincidence of the two events is expected to provide an exceptional opportunity to strengthen PLAST internationality.
To date, 129 countries have already officially joined  Expo 2015.
