Sirmax is Great Place to Work for the fourth year
The Cittadella (Padua, Italy) company specialising in thermoplastic granule production, Sirmax, remains amongst the best places to work. In 2026 as well, the Great Place to Work Institute has awarded the company Great Place to Work certification for all its Italian facilities in Cittadella, Tombolo (Padua), San Vito al Tagliamento (Pordenone), Pianiga (Venice), Salsomaggiore Terme (Parma) and Isola Vicentina (Vicenza), the two Polish sites in Kutno and Łódź, and the two American facilities in Anderson (Indiana).
Since 2023, the company has embarked upon a structured programme to enhance its working environment, achieving Great Place to Work recognition year after year. This result has been complemented by the Best Workplace for Blue Collar title obtained for two years, which has further consolidated the quality of the internal climate and the attention dedicated to production department personnel. For Sirmax, this represents confirmation of its commitment to building a stimulating environment and positive culture, oriented towards wellbeing and continuous improvement for all its employees.
Great Place to Work Institute is an international organisation specialising in evaluating organisations that distinguish themselves for the quality of their professional environment. The assessment process is structured around two main components. All employees are involved in an anonymous survey, administered through a dedicated digital platform, designed to comprehensively assess the internal working experience. The survey explores different aspects of corporate life – from leadership to management accessibility, from inclusion to the absence of discrimination – and is founded on five key dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, sense of belonging and team spirit. Testimonials from employees have highlighted appreciation not only for the climate but also for the group's business strategies.
At Sirmax, human resource management is based on principles defined in the Code of Ethics: integrity and protection of the individual, correctness in professional relationships and non-discrimination. The company aims to maintain a serene, stimulating work environment that respects everyone's needs, as well as promoting a policy of personal and professional growth to ensure career development based on skills, professionalism and merit. The company offers training courses, welfare projects, growth pathways and supports sustainability initiatives. Among the initiatives adopted by Sirmax is Empowerment New Gen, a project that involved young employees belonging to Generation Z and company managers in open and constructive dialogue, to understand the needs of people born between the mid-1990s and 2010 and propose an internal development plan agreed with company management.
"Great Place to Work is recognition that makes us proud every time," commented Sirmax president and CEO, Massimo Pavin. "Being a solid, international reality in continuous change has allowed us to form a team where technical skills are accompanied by autonomy, initiative and collaboration abilities. Our employees, especially young people, know they can count on an environment that values dialogue and continuous improvement, and this leads them to participate actively, propose new ideas and generate positive impacts, ensuring the company's future."
"At Sirmax, listening isn't an exercise: it's a strategic choice," added Silvia Minafra, global HR director of Sirmax Group. "With the project dedicated to Generation Z, we wanted to capture the energy, language and expectations of new generations to transform them into concrete innovation levers. At the same time, we deeply believe in the value of coexistence between different generations. An inclusive environment, where skills and experiences interweave, allows us to build more complete teams capable of tackling challenges from different perspectives. This diversity creates balance between the drive for innovation and operational stability, enriching our corporate culture. This is our way of doing business: putting people at the centre to run faster, together."
