Coim appoints new general manager

To consolidate its position in the sector of specialities based on polyesters, polyols, polyurethanes and special resins and continue to grow in global markets, Coim has appointed Gabriele Malcangio as new general manager. With a career spanning over twenty years, most of which spent in the chemical sector, the manager brings to Coim consolidated managerial experience and in-depth knowledge of global markets.

Gabriele Malcangio began his professional career at Oxido, an Italian company operating in the organic peroxides sector, specialising in production for the rubber and plastics industry, where he held key roles in areas such as human resources, health, safety and plant manager, overseeing major site expansions and regulatory compliance in a complex industrial context. Subsequently, he joined Arkema, progressing from sales manager to business manager and commercial director, driving the company's growth in Spain, Portugal, Africa and Latin America. Finally, over the past seven years he has worked in Dubai, strengthening Arkema's presence in the Middle East and gaining solid expertise in managing multicultural teams and defining international expansion strategies.
