"Green" agreement between Cereplast and Ashland

Cereplast announced an agreement on May 25 with Ashland Distribution (a commercial unit of Ashland) to supply bioplastic resins to Ashland's global distribution business. Ashland Distribution will distribute Cereplast compostables and hybrid resins throughout North America, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the United States. This agreement will enable the distributor to supply its customers with bio-based materials, as an alternative to traditional petroleum-based plastics.
