Fifty years of printing and decorating

Headquartered in Reggio Emilia (Italy), Moss specialises in the manufacturing and sale of machines for printing on and decorating plastic containers. The company, has just reached its milestone half century in business. To celebrate this important anniversary, at the start of October the company threw a party which was attended by the owners and the employees.

The event provided CEO Andrea Fantozzi with an opportunity to point out that the company's growth over the past five years has been possible thanks in part to its innovation-driven approach to design and its increased creativity. This strongly internationally oriented company has a turnover of over 6 million euro, 75% of which is generated on foreign markets, and it employs 34 people. It guarantees reliability and quality; indeed, it has been awarded the ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications and its machines are sold all over the world. Daniela Fantozzi, head of human resources, thanked all those who, over the years, have been part of the company’s history, stressing that the milestone reached was the result of a team effort to which everyone had contributed continuously.

Founded in 1967 as a manufacturer of machines for offset and silk screen printing - hence its name, Moss - for the decoration of objects and plastic containers, the company gradually developed, growing from a small-scale facility, occupying premises of around 200 square metres and employing just a handful of workers, into today’s industrial operation, spread over 6,000 square metres. Over the years, its production range has expanded to include hot-printing machines, multipurpose machines for processing tubes and cylindrical containers and heat transfer digital printing machines, all high-tech products. Today, the range includes over 40 basic models that, having a modular structure and a wide range of accessories, are flexible and versatile, and therefore able to cope with the most diverse market demands.
