Electric rotomoulding

Persico, headquartered in Nembro (Bergamo, Italy) has recently developed a fully electric Leonardo-series rotational moulding machine for a Finnish customer.
The machine is particularly suitable for processors seeking to meet the requisites of sustainable production because the heating system consists of elements applied directly to the mould surface, thus eliminating the use of diathermic oil and the need to replace it and dispose of the used oil every 2 years approximately.
The Finnish factory where this machine has been installed uses wind energy produced by towers operating in the immediate vicinity, meaning that the electric power needed for rotational moulding and for lighting the manufacturing department is self-produced.
