Persico Group launches division dedicated to welding

Fully dedicated to plastic material welding and led by Marco Rossi, Persico Group has launched Persico Welding, aiming to establish it as a centre of technological excellence with a strong focus on research and development and the application of advanced polymer welding technologies.

Operating within the Interiors division of the Group and based near Turin, Persico Welding is located in a key industrial district at the heart of one of Europe’s most important automotive clusters – an area renowned for its long-standing expertise in plastic processing and welding. The new facility strengthens Persico Group’s operational presence alongside major converters both in Italy and abroad.

The new division will leverage its close collaboration with Bielomatik, a German company with proven expertise in polymer welding and already part of the Group. This partnership will accelerate application development across multiple sectors beyond automotive interiors. The division will apply its know-how to automotive exterior components and lighting systems – areas where precision and reliability are critical – before expanding its activities to adjacent sectors such as packaging and household appliances, thereby enriching the Group’s portfolio with high-performance solutions for industrial applications.

Persico Welding pursues a dual mission: to provide advanced polymer welding solutions and to foster the continuous development of expertise within the Group and among its technological partners. Through research, experimentation, and training, the division aims to raise industrial standards and drive technological advancement.
