E-learning on nanotechnology
Tanocomp, an e-learning for plastic manufacturers and processors co-funded by the European Commission under the Lifelong Learning Programme, has just approached to its completion. The project partners have developed e-learning modules for plastic manufacturers and processors, which train to understand the theoretical foundations for processing carbon nanotubes (CNTs).
Plastic composites enriched with functionalized CNTs can be electrically or thermally conductive or exhibit improved mechanical properties. The training has been designed for thermoplastics, focusing on extrusion and injection molding.
The complete e-learning training module has been presented in the final conference on September 26, 2013 in Zaragoza, Spain.
