2-metre wide stretch film

A cast line for stretch film of the Handrollex range with a web width of 2,000 mm is under manufacturing at Colines. The line is able to make a production of manual and automatic reels. Formats and sub-formats which can be produced range from the classical 500 mm, with a gross weight of 2.5 kg, to the smaller 100 mm one. At each cycle changeover up to 16 reels are discharged, ready to be handled by an automatic boxing system (optional). At the production speed of over 700 m/min the line can reach a maximum hourly production of 1,500 kg with thicknesses from 8 micron upwards.
Handrollex-2000 is equipped with an innovative in-line trims regrinding system without repellettizing which provides for two independent recoveries for the trims produced by both edges of the film that re-feed the extrusion compartment. The advantages of this system are evident in terms of purchase, maintenance, use cost, and quality of the product. The thickness measuring system is optical, whilst the adoption of automatic devices such as the dosing group, the extrusion die with specific design, the measuring and control system and the Handspeedy winding station contributes to a further increase of the production performance.
