The 30th edition of Fakuma, which had been announced for 13 to 17 October 2026, has been brought forward by one day and will therefore take place from 12 to 16 October 2026. This means that the Friedrichshafen trade fair, which traditionally runs from Tuesday to Saturday, will move to Monday to Friday in two years' time. However, the five-day event and the leap in the year of the K in Düsseldorf have been confirmed: in fact, the Fakuma will not be taking place in 2025.

The decision to bring the dates forward and the weekly days of the fair to the shores of Lake Constance was taken by the PE Schall organiser following a survey of exhibitors. In this regard, Bettina Schall, CEO of PE Schall, stated that the decision was agreed “upon together with the Fakuma exhibitor advisory board. All involved parties spoke out in favour of conducting an exhibitor survey regarding event scheduling at the last meeting with the exhibitor advisory board. The result was unequivocal: the majority voted in favour of revised scheduling for the trade fair”.
