Summit on sustainability

PlasticsEurope and partners bring together a wide range of stakeholders to discuss how plastics can best contribute to sustainable development in the annual PolyTalk summit in Rochefort en Yvelines close to Paris from May 25-27, 2011.
PolyTalk was designated as a "satellite event" of the European Commission's Green Week and provides two high-level panel discussions looking at plastics and sustainability from different angles. The first panel tackles the question "Is "Green" Becoming the Key Economic Driver?".
The second session, entitled "The Sustainability Agenda: where are we?", looks more closely at the role plastics can play in driving sustainable development and will debate how to enhance further the environmental performance of polymers from a life cycle perspective across different applications.
