Seats and turf

In view of the 2014 Soccer World Championship and the 2016 Summer Games (both to be held in Brazil) existing sports facilities are being assessed in order to ensure compliance with increasingly strict organizational requirements. As part of the process, the former soccer player Paulo Sergio (who also played in Italy for the AS Roma team and now deals with sports facilities) visited the Gabriel Chemie plant in Gumpoldskirchen, Austria in early May to consider the possible use of flame retardant masterbatches and UV stabilizing additives for the production of artificial turf and stadium seats.
