Ecological sensors

For thickness measurement of laminated rubber sheets used mainly in tire production, Electronic Systems developed a range of "ecological" sensors. Proposed as an alternative to X-ray or laser devices, these sensors use air and an electromagnetic inductive sensor to measure the thickness of the sheets exiting the calender. The operating principle does not entail extrudate width but rather measurements at fixed points (3 + 3).
