The Umib range of hybrid injection-blow moulding machines has been developed by Uniloy Milacron specifically for the production of small medical articles requiring precise neck formation, such as droppers, vials for parenteral use etc.
To provide a production environment that is as clean as possible, eliminating oil losses and filtering the air inside the injection and blow moulding zones, a laminar flow hood blows air in positive pressure over the mould zone.
The electric machine drive also contributes to minimizing contamination risks while lowering energy consumption by 30%.
