New safety standard

The Comité Européen de Normalisation (CEN – European Committee for Standardization) has published the final text of the EN 1114-1:2011 standard regarding safety requisites of extruders. The standard will go into effect when it is published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
The new standard, which updates a previous version issued in 1996, was drafted by the European Committee TC 145 Work Group, of which Assocomaplast holds the roles of Secretary and President on behalf of UNI since 1995.
