Italian Presidency

On November 12 in Barcelona during the meeting of the Board of Governors of SPE Europe (Society of Plastics Engineers), professor Roberto Frassine of the Politecnico of Milan was unanimously elected President of the Association. He will serve a two-year term ending in May 2013.
The new President's program lays out the following 3 fundamental objectives:
1)   increase the number of promotional initiatives and redouble efforts to find new sponsors and new funding from the European Commission;
2)   establish new relations between the Association and European universities having departments dedicated to plastics and rubber processing;
3)   establish new sections of the Association in as many European countries as possible and coordinate their activities.
