New features for the Tensor Check electronic dynamometer by Gibitre Instruments

Gibitre Instruments produces an advanced, software-controlled electronic dynamometer with a capacity of 20 kN. This instrument has been designed for the measurement of rubber and plastic samples and finished products, in compliance with international standards. It is highly configurable, adapting to the specific needs of the customer and the products to be tested thanks to the installation of accessories such as load cells, clamps, extensometers, thickness gauges, climatic chambers, and other instruments.

Connected to a PC with Windows 11 operating system, the dynamometer is controlled by the powerful Tensor Check - 11 software, recently released. The latter offers a wide range of features, including:
- select the test method from over 100 pre-installed options, to perform tests in accordance with the main international standards, including Tension, Compression, Bending, Peeling, Friction and Hysteresis;
- create customised test methods to meet specific needs;
- identify specimens by manual entry or barcode reader;
- recording of the dimensional characteristics of the specimens, either manually or using the thickness gauge integrated in the instrument;
- verification of the conformity of the results with the defined tolerance limits;
- saving of the results and test curves in the Gibitre SQL database;
- creation of customised test reports, statistics and data exports using the LIMS Datagest_11 software, included in the supply.

The instrument can be equipped with specific clamps for each type of product to be tested. In addition to the standard clamps for tensile, compression, bending, peeling, friction and hysteresis tests on rigid plastic, rubber and foam samples, Gibitre offers customised clamps for tests on finished products such as O-rings, pipes, cables and more.

An additional option is the climatic chamber, which can also be installed after purchase and includes a refrigeration unit. This allows for temperature-controlled tests, with a range from -40°C to +250°C.

The contact differential extensometers, specifically designed for products with high elongation, and the micro-extensometers for measuring the elastic modulus of rigid plastic, are compatible with both room temperature tests and tests inside the climatic chamber.

Gibitre Instruments is an ISO 17025-Accredited Laboratory for the complete calibration of dynamometers (measuring force, elongation, displacement and speed).

What distinguishes the Tensor_Check dynamometer is its exceptional versatility which, combined with the efficiency of the assistance and calibration services, allows customers to adapt the instrument to their specific needs, always guaranteeing precise and reliable measurements in any type of test.
