Fast bagmaking machine

The new BM11BW bagmaking machine developed by Elba and introduced at PLAST 2012, reaches a production speed of 400 shots/min for open-mouth bags. An innovative sealing system was developed to achieve this. Combined with a number of devices and improvements such as the carbon upper and lower bearers of the sealing system and the independent motorized arms of the blades, this system allows significant speed increases with respect to the previous version of the machine. These improvements also help significantly reduce wear of mechanical parts, thus cutting maintenance costs. Moreover, the new HMI (Human Machine Interface) enables better and more intuitive management of each part of the machine and of remote assistance.
