Italian networkfor India
Eleven Italian manufacturers of capital goods - including Tria - signed a network contract on 7th September to set up a common policy of penetration into the Indian market through the establishment of the new Italian Technology Center (ITC) based in Pune, India, to promote Italian made products. In addition to Tria, the other companies participating in the initiative promoted jointly by Assocomaplast (the Italian Plastics and Rubber Processing Machinery and Moulds Manufacturers' Association) and Ucimu Sistemi per Produrre (the Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machine Tools, Robots, Automation Systems and Ancillary Products) include BLM, Colgar, Giuseppe Giana, Istech, Losma, Millutensil, Omera, Produtech, Rosa and Streparava.
The new Center, to be inaugurated by November, will promote the ITC brand as well as the brands of the eleven network companies. It will also work on establishing new contacts with Indian institutions and the world of culture, which is essential to supporting the internationalisation of Italian companies in the region. After-sales service will complement the activities of the Center, in which local officials will work in close and constant contact with Italian companies.
The establishment of the Italian Technology Center is part of the various initiatives promoted by Assocomaplast and Ucimu, which also include Piattaforma India, a platform designed to support the entry of companies into one of the most vibrant and promising markets in the world.
