CCM in Bangladesh

One of the largest bottling companies in Bangladesh, Global Soft Drinks recently placed an order for a CCM (Continuous Compression Moulding) technology plant developed by Sacmi. The 64 cavity machine, destined for the AST Beverage factory in Dhaka, produces 60,000 caps an hour for Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD), but is engineered to deliver up to 1600 caps a minute, with outstanding performance in terms of cycle time and energy requirement.
With this investment, Global Soft Drinks intends to consolidate and further boost its market share in a country where the production of caps and closures still trails demand. For Sacmi, the order is an important reference on the Asian market, where constant fluctuation in demand is combined with the growing demand for quality and efficiency both for manufactured goods as well as production processes.
