Three Bandera pipe lines in Saudi Arabia

Three lines for the production of PET pipes equipped with the new Performer extruders have just been shipped by Bandera to the Saudi plastics processor New Products Industries, for a 1.4 million euro order. The first of these lines is already producing 16 mm-diameter pipes, while the other two plants will produce pipes up to 450 mm. The new Performer extruders have a 75 mm diameter and L/D=38. They feature an innovative screw profile which grants a hourly production of 1 ton, keeping the melt properties, including temperatures, in the correct range.
