Plast Expo in numbers

The fourth edition of the Moroccan exhibition Plast Expo was held in Casablanca from April 6 to 9, 2011. According to the optimistic data released by the show organizer FMP (Fédération Marocaine de Plasturgie), 136 direct exhibitors (among them 6 from Italy) and 2,881 visitors  from 25 countries were present at the event, thus highlighting an increase of 40% compared to the previous edition in 2009 (2,058 visitors).
We should mention the fact that according to Assocomaplast data (Italian plastics & rubber processing machinery and moulds manufacturers' Association), Morocco ranked 35th (0.57%) among export destinations for Italian plastics and rubber machinery in 2010, with total sales exceeding 11 million euros.
