One open-house led to another

The Bandera open-house, which was held from July 1 to 16, was scheduled to show in operation a coextrusion line for 3-layer blown film designed for the production of laminates, protective packaging and stretch hoods. The line is being supplied to a leading Egyptian producer of flexible packaging. The event registered a good number of visitors not only from Italy but also from Austria, France, Germany, Poland, Chile and Mexico. It also led to the acquisition of two2 orders for a latest-generation multilayer film extrusion plant of latest generation.
TIn these days the company has also recently announced anothyer further open-house which will take place immediately after K 2010 (Düsseldorf, October 27-November 3). From November 3 to 13 the doors of the company factory in Busto Arsizio (Varese, Italy) will be opened to introduce an innovative coextrusion line for 3-layer film made of rigid and foamed PET for thermoformed rigid packaging. This line providesensures an output exceeding 1,200 kg/h and will be equipped with co-rotating twin screw extruders (L/D = 52) enabling high melt purification, and a special horizontal calender for cooling and polishing extra-very thin extrudates (150 microns for PET and 250 microns for PP) with net width up to 1,320 mm.
