Oldrati Group opens the second production plant in Turkey
One of the main international groups in the production of rubber, plastic and silicone products, Oldrati Group is continuing its expansion by inaugurating its second Turkish plant. Ten years after the opening of the first Oldrati Kauçuk plant in Bursa, the company has now completed a new plant in Eskisehir. The building will employ around 60 workers and has been already designed with a view to further doubling production space in the coming months.
This new production unit aims to strengthen the Oldrati Group presence in Turkey and Middle East. The plant will be dedicated to the production of technical articles in rubber and silicone as well as to multi-component assembly activities. The production of silicone products represents a specialty that is still not particularly widespread in Turkey where Oldrati Group is be one of the first companies to carry out this type of activity, leveraging its internationally developed know-how.
“Over the last few years, we have come to know and love Turkey very well; it is a country with great development potential and entrepreneurial dynamism, both for large groups and medium-sized companies. We have chosen to double our presence in Turkey by focusing on productions and skills that are new and innovative for the Turkish competitive environment but widely established for our Group. This will be the proposal we bring to our current and future customers: innovation, skills and international outlook”, Manuel Oldrati, group CEO, said.
“We chose the city of Eskisehir because it is particularly rich in young talent and quality professionals thanks to its local schools and universities. In addition, it is situated in an area with a strong industrial vocation, with the presence of several multinational companies in the automotive, aerospace, household appliance and manufacturing sectors in general, with which we hope to build solid partnerships”, Giorgio Frassine, Country Manager of Oldrati Kauçuk, added.
