Italian excellence

On March 25, 2010 - at the National Museum of Science and Technology "Leonardo da Vinci", in Milan - the Italian Trade Commission will organize a presentation of the event "Italian Technology Awards", a contest for students coming from technical faculties of the most important Universities worldwide. The "Italian Technology Awards" - part of the wider project "Machines Italia", fostered by ITC in cooperation with Federmacchine (National federation of Associations of producers of industrial goods devoted to the development of manufacturing processes of the industry and handicraft) - are aimed at promoting at international level innovations and excellences of Italian technology and machinery, encouraging the benchmarking between solutions designed and performed by Italian manufacturers and requirements of end-users all around the world.
Moreover, the Italian Trade Commission will officially introduce the volume "The Italian Edge: Technology for Excellence", made with the support of the Italian newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore that, though interviews, images and reportages aims at disclosing to the wide public the small, medium and large companies "hidden" behind the most famous products of the Made in Italy, as well as the many supply chains that do not appear: from mechanics to components, from chemical to electronic.
