Geneys dryers from Piovan

With the new Genesys range of dryers for PET destined for rigid packaging, Piovan offers a product which ensures process consistency and energy efficiency to attain a consumption from 30 to 50% lower versus traditional technologies. In particular air flow management, stabilization and regeneration have been improved, and the system can recover almost the entire energy used to this scope with savings between 50 and 80%. It is possible to stabilize the air flow produced by the dryer decreasing the energy usage by 16% and more. According to the estimates, a plant for preforms with a capacity of 1,000 kg per hour could save up to 220,000 kW/h per year.
