The new Aka-P bench welding machine developed by Cibra Nova, headquartered in Cernusco sul Naviglio near Milan, can perform defect-free welding of bags made of laminated, barrier or multilayer film for a wide range of products (coffee, pasta, biscuits, tea, seeds etc.). The machine can be inclined according to operator needs, and the 12 mm-wide knurled welding is automatic: the probe thermo-regulator keeps the required temperature constant for the time needed for operation. The clamping of the welding jaws is driven by air pressure and actuated by a manual bar, instead of a pedal, to enable more precise and direct control.
