INDUSTRIAL 20S, versatility in industrial applications

In 2022, AlphaMAC has developed a solution for industrial containers manufacturing with a single shuttle; INDUSTRIAL 20S is a machine which allows to produce not only standard hollowed containers up to 25/30L, in monolayer or multilayer configuration and with various raw materials; the typical “in-line” layout offers a compact floor occupation and an easy access for maintenance and for tooling changeover, but also a very friendly design to produce technical articles. 

With the use of continuous or accumulation heads, combined with high quality extruders and specific designs for materials such as TPV (PP-EPDM), with bottom blowing (in some cases both top and bottom), the machine is ideal to produce for example automotive parts, such as ducts or vibracoustic gaiters.

It was born as an all-electric machine, like the rest of AlphaMAC range, but it is also available with a hydraulic station when required, for example to control existing head parison thickness controls, PWDS systems, moulds equipped with hydraulic cylinders for stackable jerrycan, etc. The clamping unit is designed in two versions, with 12 or 28 tons, based on the application, and the 900 mm platen opening allows to produce a wide range of articles in single or double parison. Due to the important size of the machine, the mould changeover was designed with an in-built crane and a motorized solution, which allows the user to operate in a safe way, through a joystick which automatically transfer the mould at the front of the machine.

Every technical product requires a customized design and AlphaMAC always takes into consideration customer special requirements during the definition of the project, with tailored made solutions, including robotized equipment to handle the products and to make some additional operations after deflashing stage. 

The maintenance on this model is even lower than normal due to the absence of bobbing of the extrusion platform and the robotic solutions for the take-out of the products. It makes it a very reliable and repeatable machine, with the characteristic robustness and quality that distinguishes AlphaMAC.

Quality control systems can also be combined to the machine, with vision control, through cameras or scanner for an even more complete control of the production. As always, data exchange is a must-have, and the machines are prepared for 4.0 Industry protocols.
