There is a new piece in the jigsaw puzzle of Star Automation Europe sales network around Europe, thanks to the agency agreement signed with Muehsam Rozwiązania Dla Przemysłu, based in Kielce, Poland, a leading operator in the field of plastic processing machinery in the Eastern European country. Here the plastics industry is growing at a faster rate than other industrial sectors, with demand coming mainly from the packaging, construction and automotive industries.
"The outlook for plastics in Poland is good. The industry is growing faster than the European average and we are approaching the levels of the main European countries. Many companies from Western Europe moved their production operations to Poland 10-15 years ago in search of lower costs, but this margin is slowly reducing in the face of rising personnel costs. On the other hand, at the moment the plastics industry is one of the most modern throughout Europe and is proving to be a winner over competitors thanks to the quality of its products and human resources," said Milena Religa-Kargul, sales engineer at Muehsam.
More and more Polish customers are recognising the benefits of the transition to Industry 4.0, and thanks to the benefits ensured by process automation technologies, many injection moulding machines have been equipped with a robot. However, not all machines are sold with incorporated automation systems and Muehsam is precisely aiming at this great potential market.
The 2022 edition of Plastpol, scheduled in Kielce from 24 to 27 May, provides the stage to present the new partnership. At the Muehsam Star Automation Europe stand, a ZXW-1000VI Cartesian robot installed on a BMB eKW20Pi injection press removes two food trays from the mould. The robot is equipped with an OX quick coupling and an Eins gripping hand made with super light carbon tubes.
