Innovative and intuitive technology

At Plast 2015, Caccia Engineering unveiled the new RT3000H rotational moulding machine fitted with the Smart Cooling System, a concrete example of the high degree of reliability and intuitive technology reached by its rotational moulding and mixing technology. With 3 or 4 independent carriages and 6 zones, the machine is equipped to meet the strictest requirements in terms of productivity, flexibility and energy saving, and it is ideal for all processors of PE, XPE, PP, PA, PC and PE-PA blends.

The manufacturer's recent products also include some particular systems for preparing compounds with a thermoplastic - virgin or recycled - and vegetable material base. These eco-materials called wood compound or biopolymers (WPVC, WPP and WPE) are today widely used as a valid alternative to wood. In fact, they are particularly appreciated for their long life thanks to their resistance to weather agents, corrosion and mould, and their capability for preserving their strength even after long exposure to atmospheric elements.

The systems available for preparing these products have capacity of between 200 and 1500 litres and consist of turbomixers from the WCP series, vacuum units for extracting moisture with vacuum pumps and separator filters and coolers from the AC or AG series, with the option of combining with a flexible screw conveyor. They are expressly designed and adapted to obtain the best possible quality blend with vegetable fillers.
