At Mecspe, a Nova eT machine will be producing plates for finger food
From June 9 to 11 at Bologna Fiere, in the Eurostampi section of the Mecspe 2022 show, Negri Bossi will be exhibiting the 180-H490 version of the Nova eT range of fully electric injection presses, one of the flagship products by the Milanese manufacturer.
The machine on display, mainly aimed at the medical, packaging and technical moulding markets, will be producing a PS plate weighing about 4 g for finger food using a 12-cavity mould made by FB Moulds, a Bergamo-based mould maker, in a cycle time of six seconds. The machine will also be equipped with a robot supplied by Sytrama, a company based in Vignate (Milan) part of the Negri Bossi group.
The Nova eT range, available in tonnages from 50 tons, has recently been expanded by Negri Bossi with the introduction of the 450-ton model in order to offer greater choice to a market increasingly aware of the advantages offered by electric moulding technology.
The user-friendly Multitouch Tactum control unit rounds off the machine’s equipment along with the patented Amico 4.0 remote assistance system for after-sale customer support via WAN connection, allowing the control of production and the sharing of machine data with a view to Industry 4.0 thanks also to the integration of the latest OPC-UA communication standard.
