German September

Thanks to improvements in injection moulding machines, German trade in plastics and rubber machinery showed a good recovery in January-September 2010 with respect to the same period in 2009, especially for exports.
Injection moulding machinery exports evidenced a remarkable +60% due to consistent sales to the United States, Mexico, China and Poland.
Positive results were also posted by blow moulding machines because of increased revenues in China, while extruder exports shrank due to a fall-off in orders from China and CIS (especially Russia).
Looking at the total of all types of machines and moulds, as well as the main world destinations, alongside an expected growth trend in exports to the United States and Brazil, we may find a surprisingly strong slackening of sales to India and CIS (and China, to a certain extent), which are customarily considered to be rising markets.
