New sensors in the family
The MD Micro Detectors product range has expanded with new capacitive sensors in M18, M30 or cubic housings. The sensors in the C18, C30 and CQ55 series are characterized by high sensing range and resistance to electromagnetic interference. They are typically used as level sensors in injection moulding machines, mixers, hoppers, detection devices for materials - regardless of colour, transparency and consistency - and liquids, applicable also inside glass or plastic containers without need to pierce the container.
The M18 models of the C18P series are available in a plastic housing, shielded or unshielded, with M12-connector or cable output. The sensing range (regulated by trimmer) is up to 8 mm for the shielded version and 12 mm for unshielded versions. The M30 sensors are available with a plastic (C30P series) or stainless steel (C30M) housing, both shielded and unshielded, with both M12-connector or cable output. The sensing range (also regulated by trimmer) reaches 16 mm for shielded versions and 25 mm for unshielded versions. Rectangular models have also been introduced in the CQ55 series (55 x 35 x 15 mm) with sensing range of up to 25 mm, regulated via trimmer. These sensors can be mounted in shielded or unshielded mode.
