IMG unveils the second generation of Venus presses
On September 26 and 27, at the headquarters of Reco Tech in Camnago Faloppio (near Como, Italy), IMG is holding the Negawatt Days event to unveil its new Zafhir Venus II all-electric injection moulding machine.
Negawatt, as the manufacturer is keen to point out, is not a spelling mistake, but instead a reference to the unit of measure that quantifies the power saved in a process thanks to the use of a specific technology or the adoption of a certain behaviour. The term was chosen to underline the fact that this second generation of injection machines is geared at obtaining energy savings, and to encourage sector operators to seek energy-saving solutions.
The two days of this open-house event will see the presentation of new and reconditioned machines, customised to improve consumption levels in the production process.
