New look for a simplified approach
The German-based company Tebis, which has a branch in Rivoli, near Turin (Italy), chose Plast 2015 as the platform for unveiling its new Tebis V 4.0 CAD/CAM suite of modules for manufacturing models, moulds and mechanical components. The interface has been renewed without detriment to its tried-and-tested and much appreciated features, while the new graphics, after being examined by several regular users, have been given the thumbs up. This latest version also introduces new and powerful functionalities that increase its efficiency.
The interface thus features more attractive graphics, thanks to an improved use of colours and fonts. The nuanced background, characterised by a sunburst effect, as well as the optimised contrasts, are designed to reduce eye strain. The grey functions panel allows easy access to the functionalities, thanks to its intuitive icons, while selected elements are now marked in blue. The status bar has been considerably reduced, in order to leave more space for the graphic reproduction of the component, while the dialogue boxes have been redesigned in order to improve their ergonomics. The menus on the functions panel can be shown or hidden, allowing the user to configure the working environment as required. Customised working environments can also be saved and managed, making it possible to keep only the most frequently used CAD functions open in the project workspace. The feedback is considerably better with the new interface than with the previous version of the software.
This comprehensive CAD/CAM process software solution is supplied by Tebis complete with a full range of services, establishing the company as a partner from the project start-up phase through to the process implementation and user support phases. Tebis software is extremely easy to use, and ensures high quality and safety when manufacturing any kind of mould or mechanical component, even the most complex. For companies wanting to accelerate the introduction of new technologies and working methods, a team of experts is available that, on the basis of an in-depth study of the company’s specific needs, will create a tailor-made operating standard.
