Radici Plastics Suzhou sends medical equipment to Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital
Radici Plastics Suzhou, a RadiciGroup company specializing in engineering polymer production and based in Jiangsu Province in China, has joined a fund-raising drive promoted by the Italian community in Shanghai to send Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital in Bergamo over 20,000 masks and other medical devices. This equipment has already arrived at its destination.
In addition to the donation from Radici Plastics Suzhou, the employees of the company (about one hundred strong) also wanted to participate in the drive by joining the initiative of the Italian community in Shanghai coordinated by some native Bergamascan who live and work in the city. A total of over 35,000 euros was collected to help the Bergamo area cope with the coronavirus emergency.
The solidarity campaign is not yet over and, in all probability, more aid will arrive soon. This is evidence that, in this severe global scenario, collaboration among the various organizations located all over the world will become even more valuable.
