With its first participation in Plast, Chimar is opening a new chapter in its growth journey, increasingly focused on innovation. For this important debut, the company will present an exhibition concept that combines technical expertise and creative vision through two projects. Chimar’s participation in Plast 2026 represents an opportunity to consolidate its presence in the sector and open up new cross-fertilisation between industry and design, while inviting visitors to discover how colour and material can become tools for innovation.

At the heart of Chimar’s exhibition area will be a box designed in collaboration with JoeVelluto Studio. This solution interprets colours not only as functional elements, but also as expressive tools. It becomes the three-dimensional expression of Chimar’s know-how, where masterbatches and predispersed pigments take shape in a contemporary visual language capable of engaging with the world of design.

Alongside this box, Chimar will present Re_Texture, a new masterbatch developed with the addition of ELTs, designed to give plastic materials a more tactile and distinctive effect. The project was created with the aim of broadening the expressive potential of plastics, introducing new finishes and related tactile sensations without compromising technical performance. Re_Texture represents a tangible step forward towards more conscious design, where aesthetics and functionality are integrated in an increasingly advanced way.
