JEC World 2020 canceled, appointment in 2021

The coronavirus pandemic is currently affecting the whole world. The health crisis is developing unpredictably every day, leading to longer lockdowns throughout Europe and reinforced travel restrictions all over the world. Unfortunately, this uncertain context makes it impossible to hold JEC World as planned, from May 12 to 14, 2020.

A survey carried out by JEC Group among the JEC World exhibitors showed that 87.9% of respondents were in favor of holding the next JEC World session from March 9 to 11, 2021.

Even though the JEC World team had carried out all the necessary preparations, the Covid-19 situation, travel restrictions, strict lockdown measures and the clear preference of exhibitors to postpone the next session to March 2021, justify this decision.

“The entire JEC World team is truly sorry about this situation, especially since all the players involved put in effort to postpone the event to May. Nevertheless, our team is getting ready to prepare the JEC World session in March 2021, with even more innovations, knowledge sharing and business. The highlight of the composites industry's innovation and inspiration”, stated Eric Pierrejean, CEO of JEC Group.
