Stretch-blow moulding for emerging markets

Sipa's new Start Blow range of stretch-blow moulding machines is oriented principally to companies in emerging countries planning to enter the PET bottle market. The machines will be built in China, where the company already manufactures moulds and equipment, and available in two versions: two or four cavity for hourly output of 2,000 to 6,000 bottles.
Both versions are completely electric with servo-drives governing the main movements, including the stretch rods. Furthermore, every machine axis movement is under closed-loop control. Marked by a compact layout, the machines have infrared heating with low energy consumption, high efficiency air cooling systems for bottlenecks, and quick and precise blowing and stretching operations. These are all solutions borrowed from the company's SFL and SFR high-output linear and rotary stretch-blow moulding  machines. An intuitive user interface and a simple and reliable, low maintenance preform loading system facilitate machine calibration and start-up.
