A PET beer bottle production and filling plant for the Russian market is the latest innovation launched by Sacmi Imola.
The Russian beer market shows much faster consumption cycles than the rest of Europe, enabling optimal use of PET bottles without the risk of product deterioration, which has caused some problems in other countries due to non-immediate consumption.
Sacmi Imola thus got the idea to develop a plant for this kind of use, covering the whole production process from PET preform injection systems for 1.5-litre bottles and the production of the single-piece plastic pseudo crown cap to the filling and final labelling.
