Replacing asbestos fibres
The echo, in Italy and abroad, of the recent Eternit sentence led to a technical focus on the most appropriate replacement of asbestos in a number of applications
Faré, headquartered in Fagnano Olona (Varese, Italy), has announced that its plants are suitable for the production of high resistance polypropylene fibres which are similar to asbestos ones when compounded with concrete.
The extrusion plants from Faré have long been used for the production of fibres for manufacturing pipes, corrugated canopies, tiles and anti-seismic structures.
