New presidency teamof Euromap

On October 18, 2012 the extraordinary general assembly of Europe's Association for plastics and rubber machinery manufacturers (Euromap) has set the course for the years 2013 to 2015 in Friedrichshafen.
Luciano Anceschi (shareholder and CEO of the Italian company Tria) has been elected president and Helmut Heinson (managing director sales of the German company Arburg) was elected vice president. Both have been involved in Euromap activities for many years. Luciano Anceschi guided key activities as vice president over the last ten years. Helmut Heinson was involved in activities related to market data and exhibitions as representative of Arburg. Thorsten Kühmann (managing director of the plastics and rubber machinery Association within VDMA) was confirmed as secretary general.
Bernhard Merki, who chaired Euromap as president since 2005, resigned after he left Netstal in 2012. Due to his commitment to energy saving Euromap analyzed in detail the energy consumption of the plastics converting industry. In this context he actively involved himself in discussions at the political level with representatives of the EU Commission. He was the driving force behind involving Euromap in energy consumption standardization.
