New CEO for IMS Technologies
IMS Technologies announced a change in management. Luigi Magliocchi was appointed new group Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds Daniele Vaglietti who takes up his new role as Managing Director Sales and Marketing.
Magliocchi previously worked as CEO at GDM in Milano, Italy. GDM is a worldwide leader in the disposable hygiene industry and part of the Coesia Group. In his position as CEO, Magliocchi successfully directed organizational restructuring and change management. Magliocchi, born in 1963 in Parma, Italy, graduated in electronics engineering at Politecnico of Milan and holds an executive MBA of the London Business School. He started his career as Sales Engineer at Honeywell. His career steps during his 13 years with the company encompassed positions in Europe and the Middle East. Magliocchi left Honeywell in 2002 as Business Unit Director EMEA. From 2002 till 2012, Magliocchi headed as CEO the Italian subsidiary of the Carl Zeiss Group - a global leader in optical technology with more than 150 employees. He then joined Rheinmetall Italia in 2012, initially as Deputy General Manager, and in 2013 as Chief Executive Officer. During his time with Rheinmetall Italia, he advanced, among others, the company’s future generation technology.
