From next May, Syensqo’s plant in Spinetta Marengo (Alessandria, Italy) will come under the direction of Miriam Arca, who will become the first woman to lead the production site. Federico Frosini, the current director, will simultaneously step down from the role to pursue new career opportunities. At a strategic moment for the Belgian multinational, the appointment represents a choice focused on continuity and the enhancement of internal resources.

Miriam Arca grew up in Spinetta Marengo, where she still lives with her family, and her professional career has developed entirely around the production site. Having joined the company in 1999, she brings more than twenty years of experience, during which she has held various roles of increasing responsibility, culminating recently in her appointment to lead Syensqo’s site in Ospiate (Milan), dedicated to the production of surfactants.

Spinetta Marengo (pictured) is one of Syensqo’s main sites which, over an area of 130 hectares, employs more than 600 people and specialises in the production of high-performance fluoropolymers for strategic sectors such as electric mobility, renewable energy, electronics and healthcare. The site actively contributes to society’s transition towards a low-emission economy, developing advanced technologies for new industrial applications, and the new director’s goal is to continue along the path of innovation, sustainability and dialogue with the local community and the surrounding area.
