The group specialising in the design and construction of innovative and automated plant solutions for industrial production processes, Mechitronic, has appointed Paolo Pusceddu as its new Managing Director. With over 75 years of history, six consolidated companies, consolidated revenues at the end of 2024 totalling 165 million euros, approximately 900 employees and a presence in over 25 countries, Mechitronic is today a reference partner for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, electromechanical and automation sectors and operates in the plastics processing sector through Union and Tecom.

Paolo Pusceddu's appointment reflects the group's commitment to strengthening its governance and accelerating development towards a global smart manufacturing offering. "We are delighted to welcome a figure of Paolo Pusceddu's calibre to our team, who has already experienced similar growth processes and has fully understood our ambition and vision for the near future. His experience and strategic vision will be fundamental in strengthening the group and guiding it towards the goal of achieving consolidated turnover of approximately 500 million euros by the end of 2028," stated Marco Giovannini, co-founder and chairman of Mechitronic.

"I am excited to join Mechitronic at this stage of growth and transformation. Bringing together skills and previous experience gives me the opportunity to contribute to an ambitious challenge: accompanying Mechitronic towards a future where tradition and innovation coexist and create new value for all stakeholders," added Paolo Pusceddu.
